Apple Card launched seven years ago this month, and it keeps getting better. There are new features, perks, rewards, and more. Plus, there’s one major change looming.
The update is currently available to public beta testers and developers, and will likely be released to everyone next month. Last year, Apple announced a partnership with Hertz to provide exclusive perks when you book a caar rental with your Apple Card: One criticism people have of Apple Card is that it relies on your iPhone for key account management features. Since the Apple Card launch, Apple has worked to improve that. The big change hanging over Apple Card right now, however, is its impending move from Goldman Sachs to Chase.
It’s a helpful new feature for Apple Card users in iOS 27. Apple says your status could “unlock benefits on select stays and car rentals such as 10–15% discounts, free breakfast and room upgrades.
What do you get with “Genius Level 2” status? Apple announced the deal back in January and said the transition will occur “in approximately 24 months.”
