If you’ve been missing the double-click of the Digital Crown that used to bring up the App Switcher on the Apple Watch before watchOS 27, it looks like the feature is making a comeback as of watchOS 27.2 beta 2. Here are the details.
Earlier today, Apple rolled out watchOS 27.2 beta 2 for developers, less than a week after releasing beta 1. While, like with any beta, there is no guarantee that this exact interaction will make it into the final release (likely to come next month), its addition in watchOS 27.2 beta 2 suggests that Apple is listening to user feedback and looking for a way to bring the App Switcher back.
